La Gioiosa used for Masters of Wine study program

It’s official!

La Gioiosa Prosecco was one of the wines used by the Institute of Masters of Wine 2018-2019 study program.

“The wines,” writes the editors of the institute’s blog, “were shown throughout the academic year at residential seminars in Adelaide (Australia), Napa and Washington State (USA), Rust (Austria), Bordeaux (France) and Berkshire (UK) and at over 70 course days around the world.”

We couldn’t be more proud to be representing Veneto and Prosecco in this elite program!

From the Institute of Masters of Wine website:

For sixty years the Institute of Masters of Wine has been promoting professional excellence and knowledge of the art, science and business of wine. It began with an exam held for the first time in 1953 for the trade, known as the Master of Wine examination. Two years later the Institute of Masters of Wine was formed by the people who had passed the inaugural exam. The IMW’s membership now spans 30 countries while its study, examination and events programmes are conducted annually on a worldwide basis.
